Digital Transformation

We look at processes, systems and data together, decide what to digitize, simplify or stop doing, and manage a phased rollout.

The problem

The company has bought new software, but real work still runs through spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and what a few people remember.

Transformation programs usually start with a product selection. When a broken approval chain or unowned customer data moves into a new platform unchanged, the old problem simply continues on a more expensive screen.

Resistance gets misread as well. An employee who keeps a private spreadsheet has often noticed that the new system adds steps or holds bad data. That points to process design before it points to training.

Decisions made without a system inventory create their own debt: overlapping licenses, tools that can't integrate, and operations that depend on one person.

You may recognize this

  • The same customer or order data is typed into more than one system.
  • A process stalls when one particular employee is on leave.
  • Ask who owns a dataset and departments point at each other.

How we work

  1. Map the work as it happens

We shadow teams and draw critical processes in BPMN or value stream maps, flagging wait states, rework and manual handoffs.

  2. Inventory applications and data

Every system is logged with its owner, cost, integrations and data, and we trace personal data flows under Türkiye's KVKK.

  3. Apply a five-way decision

For each process we compare eliminating, simplifying, configuring what you own, buying and building custom on total cost of ownership.

  4. Pilot, then retire

One unit goes first. Parallel running gets a hard end date, a RACI makes accountability explicit, and rollout continues as old records close.

What we deliver

  • Current-state and target process maps
  • Application inventory and integration map
  • Data ownership matrix
  • Build, buy or integrate decision record
  • Prioritized transformation roadmap
  • Change and user training plan

How we measure

  • Process cycle time: the real elapsed time between a request and its outcome.
  • Active use of new systems: measures adoption, which license counts can't.
  • Parallel records retired: confirms that old files have really been abandoned.

Dealer orders at a manufacturer

Illustrative scenario: A mid-sized manufacturer keys dealer orders from phone and email into its ERP and plans to buy a dealer portal. Process mapping shows that most of the delay comes from price approvals waiting between two departments. The company simplifies the approval rules first, then connects a portal to the ERP and pilots it with a few dealers.

Common questions

Which software should we buy first?

That comes after the process and data maps. Sometimes configuring a current system or connecting two of them solves the problem. When a purchase is justified, we write the criteria with you and run vendors through the same scenarios.

Do we have to transform the whole company at once?

No, and big-bang programs carry the most risk. Starting with a visible, low-dependency process builds trust and tests assumptions cheaply.

How do you handle KVKK and data security?

Personal data flows are mapped during the inventory, and access rights and retention rules become part of the design. Legal assessment and obligations such as VERBİS registration stay with your legal counsel.

Before we work together, let's think together.
